Whether you want to call it "distance healing," "Reiki," "Qigong," or just plain old "energy work," it is entirely possible to have another person balance your Qi, your life force, your ENERGY, to help you to heal.
It's not magic, though it can seem like it. And while there are many different techniques and certifications, it's all about finding the treatment that works for you.
Energy healing has a very similar to what happens during an acupuncture or chiropractic treatment.
And the great thing about energy healing is that while I can work with you in person, you could be on the other side of the world and still receive treatment.
